The Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is located at 3000 S, Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach. The resort offers 16 acres of peaceful solitude, condo-villas and suites, with indoor and outdoor pools, barbecue grills and other amenities for your recreation entertainment. All tough it is not directly on the ocean, it’s across the street from the beautiful Beach with its own private oceanfront beach club with pools and private beach access. It is the perfect place to spend your time in the sun or at their Lagoon Pool Bar that is open daily from 11:00am to 8:00pm with daily drink specials and happy hour from 4 to 7. The serve a variety of beverages including alcohol and non alcohol drinks and smoothies. They also has a limited menu including sandwiches and wraps. Located just a short drive away is outlet shopping, stellar golf, and a 350-acre dining and entertainment complex, water park, shopping and more. If you are looking for a quick bite there is a Marketplace Grab and Go that has lunch . The Markeplace has a limited menu including sandwiches, salads, wraps and pizza.The condo’s and rooms are spacious and feature color cable/satellite TV, DVD/VCR Player and stereo.Their resort also has in room video game rentals available, so no need to bring the console from home. There are video rentals available on property for spending a night in. When you arrive there is a Bellman to assist you with any of your luggage. You will have three accommodation types to choose from. Some offer more than others. You have a choice of the regular guest room which features a full kitchen with coffee maker, stove with oven, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave and toaster, a miming fridge as well as all your glasses. plates, silverware and pot and pans. They also have a high speed wireless internet connection. The Executive Club Level and the Suites feature all the electronic features of the guest rooms but, the kitchens come equipped with coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave and toaster. You also have all glassware, silverware and plates. These rooms are also equipped with wireless high speed internet. There are daily activities available for all ages. Activity times and locations vary, so you will want to check their activity guide that is presented at check in and is great for your vacation planning. The resort offers limited daily housekeeping or weekly housekeeping. For your convenience there is also on-site guest self-laundry facilities (washer/dryer). The business center provides the tools to help you get the job done it is loaded with email and internet, facsimile, computer, and high speed internet. My favorite time is spent relaxing with the spa features of the Sauna and Whirlpool. Another great thing was having a convenience store on the property and a gift shop for that last minute shopping. The Concierge Services helped us pick the right shows to see and some of the best restaurants in town for dining. They are on site from 9am-9pm. If you are flying then they also have a rental car desk( Enterprise) on site from 9am-9pm. From the airport it is about 4 MI / 6.44 KM. It is just a short 10 – 15 minutes by taxi.
One way should run about $10.00 (USD). The property has ATM/Cash Machine which is nice, so we did not have to try and find a bank. The front desk offered safety deposit box for any valuables we may have had too. Another nice feature we noticed in the heat of the summer was the resort had many public areas with A/C. No matter if you are taking in a show, relaxing at the beach or grilling with the family Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort is the perfect place to spend your holiday vacation.
